Next Monthly Meeting To Include Some Training
We will be conducting a little Hands On Training during our next monthly meeting to be held on Thursday February 7th, 2008 at Mackey’s Pub in Manassas. This will be an ongoing thing at each of our meetings from now on. This meeting’s training topic will be announced here soon. Show up for some brotherhood and a little knowledge. What training topics would you like to see during our upcoming meetings? Leave a post with your recommendation. Tshirts will be available too. SEE YOU ALL THERE!
List your Nominations Here
Please list your nominations for the positions of President and Secretary/Treasurer by posting below. Nominations will start at the time of this post, and end at midnight on January 31st, 2008. Any nominations received after then will not be counted. A vote for the positions will be held at the next membership meeting on Thursday February 7, 2008 at 7:00 pm at Mackey’s Pub in Manassas after nominations listed below are read.
Eligibility for office must conform to our Chapter’s Bylaws; Article VIII; Section 4 Eligibility For Office; 1. A person wishing to run for office must be a member of the Chapter for at least one full year to be eligible to ba candidate for the EBoard. Eligible members who wish to run for office will be nominated and voted on during elections as stated in Section 3 above.
Chapter Secretary/Treasurer Resigns
I, once again, have to announce that another Founding Fool of our Chapter has to resign his position of Secretary/Treasurer as of December 31, 2007. Nomination process and deadline will be announced soon, and a vote will take place at the next membership meeting. I have received the letter from Dustin and it will be read at the next meeting.

Chapter President Resigns
Sadly, I have to announce that a Founding Fool of our Chapter has to resign his position of President as of December 31, 2007. Nomination process and deadline will be announced soon, and a vote will take place at the next membership meeting. Here is the letter I received from Dan:
“It is with great remorse, and serious pride that I tender my resignation of President of the Northern Virginia FOOLS. It has been fun building this origination with all of the EBoard. I hope a prosperous future for the origination, and I will continue to support it in any way I can.

First Meeting of 2008
Can everyone make the general membership meeting on February 7, 2008 at Mackey’s Pub in Manassas at 1900 hours? We need to hold elections for the EBoard positions of President and Secretary/Treasurer. We need everyone in attendance. Official chapter and auction tshirts will also be available at the meeting for $15. Leave a comment if this sounds like a good date.
